Overview:
The Zyxel EMG2306-R10A Wireless N300 4-port Gigabit Ethernet Gateway provides four Gigabit Ethernet ports meeting the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless standard, and it features TR-069 remote management for telcos, service providers and cable operators as a home network solution interoperating an FTTx or cable infrastructure.

Whole-home coverage with advanced performance
The Zyxel EMG2306-R10A Wireless N300 4-port Gigabit Ethernet Gateway integrates a Gigabit WAN port and four Gigabit Ethernet ports to interoperate with FTTx or cable modems, and its 802.11n compliance offers a better platform for FTTx and cable infrastructure deployments. With EMG2306-R10A deployed, telcos, service providers and cable operators can provide home connectivity without spending the cost to rewire the entire home for delivering Triple-play services simultaneously at speeds of up to 300 Mbps* in multi-room home environments. Besides, the EMG2306-R10A is an IPv6-enabled device that works with both the new IPv6 standards as well as the current IPv4 standard.
802.1q and port-based VLAN and DHCP support Triple-play services
Equipped with VLAN and DHCP, the Zyxel EMG2306-R10A enables service providers to deploy multimedia services based on their Triple-play offerings for better network efficiency and productivity that meet residential user needs.
Remote management through TR-069
By adopting the TR-069 standard, Zyxel EMG2306-R10A enables telcos, service providers and cable operators to remotely manage and configure the devices without user intervention. Moreover, it offers a “plug-and-play” experience to reduce deployment complexity, operating costs and maintenance expenses for service providers. Taking advantage of the SNMP support, telcos, service providers and cable operators can easily monitor the status of the EMG2306-R10A. The syslog feature also allows service providers to collect log messages from devices and analyze on the central log server.
Easy management for two-level configuration
The Zyxel EMG2306-R10A provides two-level administration management so service providers can use two different privilege levels to maintain the integrity of their critical device configuration. Service providers can manage and configure the devices with full privilege and parameters while end-users are only granted partial administration rights to use basic and user-friendly configuration such as wireless scheduling and SSID settings.
Multiple SSIDs for various service deployments
The Zyxel EMG2306-R10A’s multiple SSIDs with VLAN function support allows service providers to assign different policies and functions to each SSID for specific applications. This allows users to access different networks through a single access point to increase the flexibility and efficiency of the network infrastructure.
